Lapis lazuli has been treasured for more than 6,000 years, prized by ancient Egyptians and ground into the ultramarine pigment of Renaissance paintings. Its deep royal blue is flecked with gold pyrite and soft veins of white calcite, so no two beads look alike. This bracelet uses hand-faceted lapis. Every cut surface catches the light differently, bringing out the depth of the blue and the shimmer of the gold.
Each bracelet is strung and finished by hand in New York with solid sterling silver. The finish is clean and minimal so the stone stays the focus. It's easy enough to wear every day and works on its own or stacked with the Faceted Malachite Beaded Bracelet.

Care
Lapis is a soft, porous stone. Keep it away from water, perfume, lotions and household cleaners, and take the bracelet off before swimming, showering or exercising. Wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth, and store it on its own in its pouch so the facets stay sharp.
