MHART is a New York–based jewelry brand handcrafted by designer Michael Hartney. Since 2010, every piece has been individually made by hand, using natural gemstones sourced from the earth and caged in finely-woven silver or gold chain.

Each piece is built around the natural shape of the gemstone—never forced, never symmetrical by design. The chain responds intuitively, wrapping organically to form a sculptural, architectural shell. Each link works in tension, creating a flexible yet supportive cage that balances force and form, delicacy and strength. The result is a one-of-a-kind design shaped by the stone.

Every design reflects Michael’s obsessive attention to detail, built with both precision and intention. MHART jewelry isn’t mass-produced. It’s engineered, shaped, and assembled by one set of hands — start to finish.
