MHART emerged from a deep fascination with freshwater pearls and raw, one-of-a-kind gemstones — their shape, luminosity, and color, each one different from the last.
The brand's signature caging is inspired by architect Antoni Gaudí's use of suspended chains to form natural, structural curves. Each setting is hand-built to cradle the stone or pearl, highlighting its form while adding structure and movement to every piece. For brides, that same philosophy shapes a piece to move with her through every moment of the day.
I’ve always believed gemstones and pearls are already perfect. Each one has its own story, shaped by nature over millions of years. My job is not to change them, but to honor them.
Every cage is built by hand, one link at a time, protecting each stone or pearl while preserving its natural beauty. The chain responds to the form of each piece, creating a sculptural structure that allows its natural beauty to shine through.
The aim is to showcase each stone and pearl’s transformative nature and illuminate it with chain.
