Welcome to the MHART blog. We are a sustainable jewelry brand, creating handcrafted pieces from high quality eco-friendly materials.
Who is MHART?
MHART was founded by Designer, Michael Hartney. He handcrafts every design with a focus on providing striking, exciting jewelry pieces for anyone and everyone who loves wearing jewelry.
MHART jewelry is never outsourced to a factory. We are environmentally conscious at the focus, using ethically sourced materials, and recycling excess throughout the production process.
Behind the Scenes: Making MHART Jewelry
Michael handcrafts each design to create unique one-of-a-kind pieces. He travels between New York City and Spain throughout the year sourcing gemstones and materials.
MATERIAL’S WE <3
The use of natural gemstones is a key characteristic of our jewelry collections. These beautiful gems, that occur naturally in the earth, not only make our jewelry unmatched in beauty, but promote the restoration of energy fields that can provide love, safety, and healing. Our most frequently used stones are quartz and black spinel for both their exquisiteness and functionality.
.925 Sterling Silver + Gold Vermeil
Sterling silver is a combination of metals and, unlike pure silver, is strong and durable. It creates the beauty and shine of silver fortified with other metals to make it suitable for everyday wear.
Our polished stainless-steel jewelry is a blessing to those with skin sensitivities. It is both hypoallergenic and tarnish free, so it won’t cause any irritation or discolouration of the skin.
Elevate your look in this stunning linked leather top. This top is sure to be a show stopper. Equipped with a chic, industrial look, our leather and polished stainless-steel top is a blessing to those with skin sensitivities. It is both hypoallergenic and tarnish free, so it won’t cause any irritation or discolouration of the skin.Designed to be worn over your shirt or bikini top.
Leather gives a timeless, sensual look to our jewelry. This material is both durable and water-resistant making it perfect to withstand daily wear and tear. Leather is a natural, renewable, and biodegradable substance, making it more sustainable and environmentally friendly than its counterparts.
