Amethyst + Quartz

Amethyst is viewed as a stone of peace, some believe amethyst's calming presence produces soothing dreams by bringing the dreamer more in tune with the Divine. It has been suggested that amethysts increase mental and metaphysical clarity and peace in the waking world.

Amethyst is Michael’s birthstone and holds great meaning to him as well as Quartz. Which is our main stone in the collection.

Amethyst and quartz are two of the most popular gemstones in the world, loved for their beauty, versatility, and healing properties. These stones have been prized throughout history by various cultures for their unique qualities.

Amethyst is a variety of quartz that gets its purple hue from iron impurities within the crystal structure. It is found in many regions around the world, including Brazil, Uruguay, Russia, Zambia, and South Korea. The name "amethyst" comes from the Greek word "amethustos," meaning "not intoxicated." This name reflects an ancient belief that wearing or carrying amethyst would protect one from drunkenness or overindulgence.

On the other hand, quartz is a mineral that can be found almost everywhere on Earth. The quartz we use in the collection is from the south of Spain. Michael travels between NYC and Spain throughout the year sourcing the unique one-of-a-kind gemstones used in the collection.
